Final Wood Days Calendar

The story of the Wood Days calendar epitomises the spirit of the Wood Days. For twelve years it has captured the heart of the event so it is with some sadness that we announce that the 2019 Wood Days Calendar, which many CIKA supporters are currently using, will be the last.

We cannot sufficiently thank Daniel Burke and the many others involved for the commitment and generosity displayed over the last 12 years. Since 2007 he has been supplied with photographs from the current Wood Days and from there organised the printer, the designer, the paper and the binding, all of which were donated. The sale of two thousand calendars was then undertaken by an army of volunteers, throughout Victoria and interstate. Time and time again we have heard how much people love the calendar. It has been a practical and a lasting memento of the Wood Days.

We are very appreciative of the support given by Daniel and his fellow volunteers.  It is an unique idea and one that has raised $10,000 each year since its inception, thereby adding to the thousands flowing to CIKA from the Wood Days.
