CIKA’s Children
CIKA’s first three children were Wendy, Scott and Katrina.
It is from them that CIKA got it’s logo.
Wendy planted nasturtiums in front of her playhouse. Her last words were “Are my flowers growing yet?”
Scott loved chasing seagulls at the beach.
Katrina liked butterflies.
Between 200 and 250 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in Victoria.
Ninety percent of these children are treated at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The CIKA children seen on this page have all battled cancer.
