Wood Days Extravaganza

The 24th Wood Days will be happening on November 9 and 10 and all are looking forward to a great weekend. It’s an amazing event thanks to Andrew and Christine Duyvestyn and their family and friends. Once again there will be great raffle prizes so make sure you get your tickets and we are definitely expecting that there will be vigorous bidding for the coveted auction items up for grabs. Heywood Lions club are on deck again helping with the BBQ lunch and there will be hot and cold drinks for sale as well. Make sure you don’t miss out on the freshly cooked damper made by John and Helen.

Of course, it wouldn’t be the Old Time Wood Days without the fabulous displays and demonstrations that are happening throughout the weekend. These are a highlight for many, as is the the camaraderie that exists between everyone there.

An event such as this could not happen without the volunteers, some of whom have been part of the Wood Days for the past 23 years. To them, and to everyone who supports the Wood Days we say thank you. It could not happen without you.

Below are some photos from past Wood Days. They are sure to generate happy memories for those who were there!
