Out and About at Last

We recently received a report from committee member, Ruth Edelsten, on the return of the popular Macedon Focus Group lunches.  It is great that this enthusiastic group of dedicated supporters is at last able to get together for lunch and a long overdue afternoon of fun and companionship.  Here is what Ruth wrote.

I am not only a member of CIKA but have enjoyed a long association with the Macedon Ranges Focus Group whose members are long time supporters of CIKA.  Focus is now back underway with its monthly meetings and with great anticipation we have been able to do a bus trip and a luncheon away as a different fundraiser for CIKA.

On Friday the 8th of April a busload of Focus members met at Sunbury to be driven to Rivers of Yarrambat where a tour of the nursery, garden centre, gift wares and fashion shop was undertaken.  This was followed by a two course LOVELY luncheon.  Focus members were delighted to be allowed, at last, to be out and about and travelling.

The CIKA team thank the Focus members for their continued dedication and support.

As you can see from the photographs, a good time was had by all.
