More Support from Rural Victoria

The CIKA stalls have long been a big part of our fundraising events and the stalls are held regularly at The RCH and in several areas of rural Victoria including Bendigo.  A large component of the donated goods that we sell are hand crafted with love and, as many of our donors live in rural Victoria, it is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to meet one of our very generous supporters.

Carol lives in the Wimmera and, since her retirement, has used her lovely hand crafting skills to produce goods that were donated locally.  For some time Carol, worked with the local patchwork group to produce hats and blankets for donation to local charities.  Since mid 2022 Carol has had her product forwarded to The Royal Children’s Hospital and the CIKA stalls have benefited from her very generous donations.

These beautiful items would bring a smile to the face of anyone who saw them. No wonder Carol looks happy.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time with Carol and to talk about her volunteer time locally and to be able to express our thanks for her generous support to CIKA.

Thank you Carol.

Here are some of Carol’s beautiful handmade offerings.
