Let’s Go Cruisin’

Behind each donation is a story and this is one we would like to share with you.

Let’s Go Cruisin‘ is a group of family and friends who are owners and enthusiasts of pre 75 chrome bumper cars including street rods, American and Australian muscle cars, classics and pick up trucks. The group was formed around 30 years ago and is based on the peninsula. This group is all about having fun with family, friends and fellow car enthusiasts but throughout its history this group has also been supportive of many charities donating over $120,000 in that time.

CIKA has benefited from their generosity on numerous occasions. Late last year a monster Christmas raffle was held and all the proceeds were donated to CIKA. We are very grateful for this recent donation and value the ongoing support from the Let’s Go Cruisin‘ group.

At a recent event held earlier this year Nick Duyvestyn represented CIKA in the presentation of awards to the members of the Let’s Go Cruisin’ group. Nick and his wife Kaye are long time supporters of CIKA and the Wood Days and are also members of Let’s Go Cruisin‘ so it was great that Nick was available to make these awards.

Thank you to all involved with this fundraiser.
