Christmas Market Night 2012
On Friday 18th November, the home of Ruth and Peter Murray once again provided the venue for the popular Christmas Market Night organised by Ruth and her friend and fellow CIKA supporter, Sharron Markovic. This event, which has run for the past three years, raised over $8,373.35 for CIKA, an even better result than last year.
As always, there was a great array of Christmas gifts, baked goods, jams and fresh vegetables. The raffle and bbq dinner were as popular as ever.
Ruth’s street was packed with cars as was her home with happy shoppers. This event
grows bigger each year and the work and presentation that goes into it is overwhelming.
Thanks Ruth, Peter and Sharron. What a great result.
100% of the money raised went to fund cancer research at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Christmas hampers were filled with… … ‘Always Fresh’ products by Riviana Foods. Pasta was suppled by Bonfood.
Ruth was helped by … … her daughter, Grace, … … her mother, Madge …
Also helping were Janine Butterfield
(Sharron’s sister) with her daughter
Emily …… and Elen Butterfield.
