An Update for the Focus Group

The October 11 Macedon ranges Focus Group luncheon attracted a full house as members and friends gathered to receive an update of the progress being made with the Tissue Bank, to the support of which this energetic group has contributed significant funds.

Tissue Bank coordinator, Doctor Louise Ludlow, last spoke to Focus Group members in April 2016 when she outlined her career history and described the operation of the bank and the research that it makes possible.  This time Louise was able to present an update on the breadth of work that is now being undertaken and to provide a vision of the future of the diagnosis of childhood cancer and its subsequent treatment.

Her presentation was followed by question time and Focus Group members left strengthened in their resolve to continue raising as much money as possible to support this important life-saving work.
