2014 CIKA Ball

Saturday 16 August saw many of CIKA’s loyal supporters enjoying themselves at The Pullman Albert Park where our annual ball was hosted by our patron, Mr Peter Mitchell. Bob Valentine and his band provided the music and the Grand Auction was conducted by Leor Samuel.

The event raised $47,453 which is a great result in these difficult economic times and a tribute to the generosity of our supporters and the hard work of our volunteers. 



  • We were very pleased to welcome so many of the dedicated nursing team from the RCH.

  • Keith Waters, a former paediatric oncologist at the RCH was joined by CIKA vice president Ellen Webb and childhhod cancer survivor,
    Dean Duyvestyn, to outline CIKA’s role in the search for a cure.
