Christine and Andrew Win the 2014 Madge Tate Award

The prestigious Madge Tate award is presented each year to an auxiliary member who has shown great leadership and diligence in fundraising for the Royal Children’s Hospital.  In 2014, and for the first time in the history of this award, a couple were the winners.  CIKA members Andrew and Christine Duyvestyn from Byaduk have shown a long and sustained commitment to supporting research into solid cancerous tumours in children.  The CIKA team, along with a large contingent of family and friends, were there to celebrate the award with them.  Andrew and Christine have also received recognition from Premier Napthine who is well aware of the work that they have done in his electorate.  We are very proud to have them on the CIKA team.
