AMWU ETU at OI

CIKA team member Julie Casilli was the recipient of a surprise phone call from Noel Smith, a former employee of O-I Melbourne.

Members of the AMWU and ETU maintenance workers at Spotswood Glass had held a get together following the retrenchment of some of their members, where it  was decided that a dormant fund of donated money, set aside since 1996, would be distributed to several charities.  As a result, we are the lucky recipients of a $2000 cheque.

Noel reported that four other charities would also benefit. Well done and thank you to the members of the AMWU and ETU.  Your generosity is much appreciated.
