Face to face at last the 2022 Old Time Wood Days was a great success raising in excess of $25,000. Over 700 people came through the gate during the 2 day event including helpers and campers. There was somthing for everyone with displays and demonstrations to cater for all interests.

Thank you to those who assisted with creating the displays and performing demonstrations. These included:

Woodturners from Hamilton
Whip and Knife maker
Minature steam engine

Wooden spoon carver
Lucas mill demonstrations
Post and Rail Fences, made by hand

There were live and online auctions which raised over $4,000. Many stalls products were supplied by CIKA members and others donated jams, chutneys and more. There were fourteen Shoe Box Raffles and six draws for the main raffle.

We thank the Heywood Lions Club for supplying the barbeque. We also thank the Kerr family for all the sausages and hamburgers over many years.
In the food department there was tea and coffee plus fresh scones, jam and cream, lots of varieties of damper
and home made pies. And, 120 people enjoyed a 3 course meal mainly cooked using camp ovens!

Thankyou to the many family and friends who have supported us over the last 27 years and to all the generous people who have donated food, meats, raffle prizes and most of all physical support to help make this event possible.

Christine and Andrew Duyvestyn.
